Thrilled to be joining Amplifyher Ventures as an Investor Fellow

I was selected as a 2020–2021 Investor Fellow for Amplifyher Ventures, a fund dedicated to investing in visionary founders with diverse leadership teams. I am thrilled to use this role as a chance to continue speaking with female and diverse founders on the daily!

Amplifyher Ventures describes their raison d’être as the coming together of 3 trends:

1. 15% of VC dollars go to gender-mixed teams, even though those teams out-perform all-male founding teams by 63%. As value-investors, we don’t see women as under-funded, we see them as untapped.
2. Women make up one in five C-Suite leaders and less than 5% of CEOs. Amplifyher arms outstanding women with the resources and capital needed to build their own C-Suites.
3. We are at an inflection point in venture for female empowerment. The conversation of gender parity is at its prime, but the numbers still show a significant gap in financing. Let’s change that.

Amplifyher Ventures invests in companies operating in the Care, Commerce and Connectivity spaces. Recent investments include Summersalt, Hill House Home, Trialjectory, Oova, Pepperlane, and Motherly.
